Are you ready for the busy leasing season ahead? As for me, I still can’t believe we’re already two weeks into January! Things are really starting to pick up here at Cornerstone Property Management, and we’ve been getting ready for leasing season and keeping things running smoothly for our clients, amongst other things.

It’s been really busy, and I expect it to be a lot busier as the much-anticipated spring selling draws nearer. But before we get into what’s ahead, let’s reflect on how things have been the past year.

Reflecting on the slow market. Over the last couple of months, things got a bit slow. We had leases and showings that were stale at the time. Some homes that don’t usually sit for more than two weeks were on the market for 45 days. That’s not normal! Thankfully, we are gaining momentum again and are ready to welcome the spring selling season.

With that said, in the next couple of weeks, expect a reminder from me about the importance of home inspections. Whether you conduct them quarterly, biannually, or mid-term, make sure your home is being taken care of.
